What to Expect
Getting a Better Breast at DPS starts with a seminar covering the various aspects of breast augmentation with explanations of saline, silicone, and gummy bear implants. Seminars will be approximately one hour long followed by a quick exam to ensure that each patient is a good candidate for the procedure. After the exam, it’s time to book a surgery date!
Patients will have a pre-op appointment 2 weeks before their scheduled surgery date where they will be able to pick their implant size. Patients who participate in the seminar receive special pricing.

Implant size is determined based on the number of CCs of silicone or saline used. If you are interested in a specific cup size, bring in the bra that you want to fit into and we can match an implant into that particular bra. Many people ask about gummy bear implants which for todays modern implant is any silicone implant.

Breast augmentation implants are made either in a round or teardrop shape. The majority of our patients prefer a round implant. The round implants add a little more fullness to the upper breast that most patients desire. Shaped implants give a more natural contour to the upper pole of the breast. Modern silicone implants are all cohesive, sometimes called gummy bear implants.

Breast implant profile refers to the projection, which is the maximum point of projection what one sees from the side view. Different projections are used to match the width of your chest to the size of implant you want. This helps prevent too much "side breast" from the implant being too wide on your chest wall.
3D Imaging
Take a look at your virtual results. Allergan provides 3D imaging through Crisalix. Remember that actual results may vary. Imaging works best for those patients that do not need a lift.
